Sushi Makes Everything Better :)

Hello beautiful people :)
I hope you are all doing great and enjoying my blog!
Today is a very gloomy day and all I want to do is curl up in a ball and sleep.
So, instead I'm curled up on my bed with my laptop and a blanket whilst listening to the Great Gatsby Soundtrack.

I just got home from a lovely hang out with my best friend.
It was a very long night, we didn't get much sleep since we watched too many films and spent a lot of time on Youtube.
Time flies by so fast when you are watching videos.
We think it's midnight and then we check our phones and suddenly it's 5 in the morning and the sun is starting to rise.
Since we slept really late, our start to the day didn't start until two.

I usually hate sleeping in because it wastes half a day!
But because it's been raining all day, I really didn't mind waking up after 12.
Both of us were feeling under the weather and thought that sushi would make everything better.
Because it usually does. hehe
At a very slow pace the two of us got ready and were out the door after 3:00

We drove in the rain to one of my favourite Japanese restaurants called The Villa.
The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
To our luck, the place was completely empty.
We chose the perfect time to go since we were the only two customers there.
Soy Sauce
After placing our order, we were welcomed with two cups of steaming hot green tea, miso soup and Asian salad.
With the cold weather having tea and soup was exactly what we needed to warm up.
I have always loved the salads!
I really like the salad dressing! I would definitely eat more salad if I had the dressing!
What I loved most about the soup and the tea is that every time I would drink it, it would instantly warm up my body.
I could feel it travel down my throat and into my stomach because of how warm it was!

I know how to use chop sticks and I learned at the age of 8.
My friend, however, struggled a little bit.
It was really funny watching her try to pick up the lettuce with the chopsticks.
It definitely took her a few tries!
How good does this look?
This is what both my friend and I ordered!
A great assortment and all tasty!
I love sushi and I love how the presentation is always lovely!
It was a pretty funny experience eating this with my friend.
We both had a bit of trouble and it got really messy really fast!

Despite the yucky weather outside, our late lunch was delightful.
The food was delicious and it was funny experience.
What I love most about my best friend is that we never run out of things to talk about when we're together.
So we had another lovely chat over lunch like we always do :)
I had a wonderful time!

Everyone should go check out her blog.
She's amazing!
