My MAC collection | Face

Hello beautiful people!
Today, I have the second part of my mac collection to share with you!
However, there are only three products...
shhh! I'm working on building this part of my collection!
I tend to gravitate towards other face products and I focus on lipsticks when I shop at MAC.

I just want to point out that I'm watching Mulan 2 with various fall candles lit.
This is the best setting right now to write a blog post :)
That's all!

This has to be one of my favourite MAC products.
Maybe even one of my all time favourites!
This is MAC's lightscapade mineral skin finish!
It is just the perfect highlight for me!
The new packaging is so sleek and the product itself is gorgeous!
I apply this on my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose and my chin and it's flawless!
The light hits it perfectly and provides a beautiful shimmer.

This is my one and only MAC blush.
It's the sheer tone shimmer blush in Breeze.
It's such a lovely blush colour for the fall and winter time.
There isn't a ton of shimmer, but provides enough that you look like you have a natural flush!
I really like the dark berry/plum colour!
I definitely wore this every day last winter!

Lastly, my concealer to hide my terrifying bags!
It's the studio finish concealer with SPF 35 in the shade NC30.
It's definitely not my all time favourite concealer (which is MakeUp Forever's concealer), but it does a great job at masking my face!
I was told that it looks cakey on but I apply it with Real Technique's crease eyeshadow brush and I have no complaints

Yes it's definitely a beginner collection.
haha!
But here it is!
Part 3 which will be all of my eye products will come soon!
I've posted all my lipsticks if you want to check it out, it's my previous post!
I hope you enjoyed this and you are all having a lovely day!

My MAC Collection | Lippies

Hello beautiful people!
Whoa, it's me back with a beauty post!
Within the past 1-2 years, my love for make-up has really grown.
I started to watch a large amount of beauty hauls and beauty tutorials.
The more videos I watched, the more time I spent at drugstores, Sephora and MAC.
Since the beginning of 2014, I have decided to try and pursue a different career path.
One that many didn't support, but I'm going to do a separate blog post about that.
So stay tuned
:)

My make-up collection has grown a lot and I'm struggling to keep them organized.
But I decided I would do a three part series on my blog called My MAC Collection!
I have divided my MAC make-up into three: Face, Eyes and Lips.
I want to share with you what MAC products I currently have and what I think about them!
For the most part there will only be good things because I am a massive fan!

I've decided to share my lipstick collection seeing as I have a massive addiction to any lip products.
Whether it be lipsticks, lip glosses or even lip scrubs- I'm addicted!
However, I am fairly picky with formulas because I hate when the product sets into the cracks of my lips or dries them out.

I just want to take a moment to mention the packaging!
I'm easily impressed with packaging and I just love the way MAC lipsticks are packaged!
All of them lined up, they look like bullets!
The black with the small silver detailing looks very sleek.
I like them!
From Left to Right
1. Right Image- Cremesheen Glass
2. Cyber
3. Rebel
4. Ruby Woo
5. Cosmo
6. Creme in Your Coffee
7. Bold Spring
Cyber is my latest addition and my newest obsession!
I love rocking a bold lip and will do so whenever I get the chance.
It's a very deep purple that almost comes across as black!
It's a very creamy lipstick that is definitely buildable!
I prefer to wear it darker where it's on the more black side
This lip stick doesn't dry my lips out and I like how easily it applies.
However, because the application is very easy it is also really easy to smudge.
So you do have to be careful when you are cleaning up the lines!

Rebel was my first outrageous lipstick!
This is more of a dark-berry coloured lippie.
With my skin tone (which is olive) it matches really well.
I read an article saying that berry toned lipsticks compliment olive skin
SO There ya go!
The colour payoff is amazing and it lasts a fairly long time.
You do however have to touch it up, but it lasts longer than a few of my other lipsticks
I've worn this on multiple occasions for 12 hours and after an entire day it does dry out my lips.
I recommend applying a a lip balm before!
The application is perfect! Out of all my MAC lipsticks this one is my favourite to apply.

Ruby Woo...I have a love/hate relationship.
I love the matte red lip.
But the formula is horrendous!
It takes longer to apply this lipstick than filling in my eyebrows...
Trust me, that's a long bloody time!
On top of that it only takes about an hour for my lips to shrivel up!
If I put a balm before, the lipstick won't apply.
It's a constant struggle.
I only pull this bad boy out on very special occasions.

The two nude lipsticks that I have are very similar.
I have cosmo and creme in your coffee!
Cosmo is a pinky- nude and creme in your coffee is on the neutral side.
Every girl needs both tones of nudes in their makeup collection!
They are both very creamy and they are very fast to apply.
I love wearing these to school because it's definitely an every day lip colour, but it also pulls together my entire face of make up.
Neither one dries my lips out which a bonus.

Finally, Bold Spring is part of their MAC 2014 Spring Collection.
This was an unintended purchase much like most of my make-up, but I definitely don't regret it!
In the picture above, it looks like a muted fuchsia matte...was that the proper way to describe it?
I don't know.
But the pink is more vivid and glossy in person!
The easy application and the beautiful pigmentation makes this my favourite Spring/Summer lippie!
I will say that I really do hate the packaging. I think it's just not pretty and I don't like the shape.

MAC Lip Liners
1. Current
2. Whirl
Current is a very deep berry colour, I almost want to say it has a touch of maroon!
I pair this with Rebel, it really deepens the look.
& if you know me, I'm all about dark and bold lips.

Whirl is a beautiful nude liner that I fell in love with the moment I saw this on Kylie Jenner's lips.
My friend Hayley sent me a picture and I needed it ASAP.
I wear this buy itself most of the time and I am in love with it.

There you have it!
Like I said for the most part I am in love with my MAC lip products.
Of course, I do have my favourites (Whirl & Cyber)
But I definitely don't mind spending the money for this high end lip sticks.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this :)

Have a great day and I'll talk to you soon!

The Princess Sarah xo

Hello beautiful people :)
So it's been a long time, I know!
A lot has changed since my last post.
Everything is a lot better than it was!
I would like it to stay this way!

I've mentioned a few times about starting my own YouTube channel in addition to the collab one that I have with my best friend Stephanie (which is on hold atm because of school)
Well I have finally started my very own, solo channel!
The link above is to my channel, I would love if you went over there and subscribed! :)
I have two videos up right now!
I've filmed the Common White Girl Tag and a Reading Week Haul!
The Common White Girl Tag

Reading Week Haul

I honestly love doing this and I hope I can continue to do this!
I would love for all of your support and advice!
So please head on over and check out my videos!
I recently filmed a Get Ready With Me: Neon Lights Tour edition that will be going up either this week or next week!
I'm super excited and nervous for that one!
Maybe in the future I'll make a blog post about why I love YouTube so much, once I get more videos out there!

Some Cheeky Changes :)

Hello beautiful people :)
I love social media and I love using my blog.
I've mentioned in the past about starting a personal YouTube channel in addition to the one that I have with my friend.
I created it and filmed videos, but I didn't like them so I deleted both things that I filmed.
Recently, I haven't really been liking Pinky Party for my YouTube channel name.
I was having a nice chat with my friend Hayley about creating a channel for her when I came across a different username for myself.

As of yesterday, I have created a new YouTube channel with a different name.
Introducing:
This is the place where I will be posting a wide range of videos from beauty related ones to ones where I simply sit in front of my camera and talk to you guys!
I would be forever grateful if everyone hopped over to YouTube and hit the subscribe button!
I'm aiming for my first video to go up within two weeks...I just have to figure out what to film.
Haha!

Also, I have created a separate Twitter that is dedicated to my blog and YT channel.
Click on the link and follow me!
I love making new friends ;)

But that is it for now!
I will keep you posted on here and my twitter!
If you have any ideas for videos or blog posts leave a comment or tweet me!
I'd love to hear them especially because I'm still trying to figure out what my channel is going to be all about!

10 Things That Make Me Happy

Hello beautiful people!
This week has been a great week!
It's very refreshing to have a good week after being in a really bad slump.
I find myself slipping into slumps quite frequently and it doesn't take much to upset me.
So, overtime I have compiled a few things that are guaranteed to make me feel better.
Anytime I'm going through a tough time I always work through my list and so far it has worked every single time.

  1. My friends- either spending time with my friends or talking to them helps a lot. It's nice knowing that they're there for me and are willing to help me through my problems.
  2. Going to the gym- ever since I've started working out, I have found my stress level to be so low. Any time I'm stressed or upset about anything, let me go to the gym for an hour and I will walk out feeling a lot better.
  3. Writing in my journal or Blogging- I always do this at night. I'll sit in my bed and either write in my journal or make a blog post. Writing in my journal really helps put things in perspective for me and making a blog just releases my stress.
  4. YouTube- Watching my favourite YouTubers always puts a smile on my face. I'll sit in my room watching their latest videos and it distracts me from my problems.
  5. Watching my favourite movies- I will always pull out Disney or Harry Potter films and lately This Is Us. To have those few hours watching the movies that make me the happiest is such a good way to pick myself up.
  6. Shopping- if I've been in a slump for a while, I'll go to the mall and do some retail therapy.
  7. Baths- After a stressful day. I'll start up a bath, using whatever bath bomb I chose from Lush. I'll light up some candles, put on some music and grab the book I'm currently reading. I'll jump in the bath with a face mask and dive into my book. The ultimate relaxation.
  8. A cup of tea
  9. If I'm just upset because of a boy then eating helps. Haha, I'm such a girl. But in certain situations eating my sorrows away does help.
  10. Removing myself from social media- there are times when I just need to be by myself and away from anything. So I'll turn my phone off and not touch my laptop to give me some time away from Twitter, Instagram etc. Removing technology away for a bit is refreshing and helps to clear my mind.
So there you have it!
10 Things that make me happy!
Everyone should have a list of things that they can turn to, to make them happy!

2013 Beauty Favourites

Hello beautiful people :)
With the new year beginning and my last blog post being a downer, what's a nice way to pick things back up?
I'm here to share with you the beauty products that I've been loving throughout 2013.
Last year (woah, that sounds weird) was the year that really sparked my love of make-up.
It's strange to see how quickly my make-up collection has grown.
I really have too much for my own good...
I just love it so much and because I watch so many beauty guru's it only makes me buy more!

Let's start with my favourite foundation of the year.
Covergirl's Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
The only time I used to wear foundation was while I was dancing.
My skin is pretty good, so I've never had a need to wear any foundation.
But I did find that it made my skin look even better and it helped my makeup.

I wasn't sure how I felt about this foundation when I first purchased it, but I love it now.
It gives a fuller coverage and is an excellent drugstore foundation.
I have the shade soft honey.
It evens out my skin and blends very nicely.
The best way to apply this foundation is to use a damp sponge.
It avoids streakiness.

My favouite bronzer and blush.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
I bought this because I needed a matte bronzer.
I was immediately sold when I found out it smells like chocolate.
It's so heavenly and I can't help but smell it every time I apply it.
What I love about this product is how natural it is.
I use this to contour my face and it gives me a nice subtle look without making it look like I'm purposefully trying to make my face look thinner.
I'm pretty sure this will always be my favourite bronzer and I know I'll be repurchasing this product.

Gosh Cosmetics' Natural Blush in Flower Power
After I found my matte bronzer, I began to look for some matte blushes.
After watching one of Tanya Burr's video I knew I had to check out this blush.
It didn't take much convincing to purchase this.
The packaging isn't the best and I'm scared to break it, but the colour is beautiful and I love the way it looks on my skin.
It's very natural and I look like I have natural colour in my cheeks!
2014 is definitely going to be the year where I build my blush collection.
Uh-oh...

Let's move to the eyes!
Naked 3 Palette
This comes to no surprise.
I'm sure you've seen every beauty guru include this and I'm not sure if I'm allowed to include this because I got this at the end of 2013.
But I'm going to do it anyways because it's absolutely beautiful.
I went on a journey and a half to buy this and it's absolutely worth it.
I got the Naked 1 for Christmas and I love that one too.
I love the pink shades and I love the combinations of colours.
I've used this palette for every day looks and for when I got out at night.
You can literally use this palette for any look.
It's definitely worth the $70!

Stila's All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner
This eyeliner is the love of my life!
I had the longest struggle finding a good eyeliner.
At the beginning of 2013, I eventually just went to Sephora and asked for help.
The wonderful lady brought me over to this beauty.
First time I wore, I loved and I'm still loving it.
It applies so nicely, I can create a lovely cat eye as well because the tip is fine.
& once it's on...it's on.
It doesn't smudge- I've rubbed my eye accidentally and my eyeliner didn't budge.
The best thing about this is it isn't a pain to take off.
Any make-up remover that I use has no problem with this product.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes & Rimmel Lash Accelerator
Now I expected that Benefit's They're Real would be my favourite mascara.
But this combination makes my eyelashes look unbelievable!
They curl nicely and it really lengthens everything- making my eyes look a lot bigger.
I first apply the lash accelerator which curls my eyelashes and lengthens them.
Then I use Scandal Eyes to thicken them.
I don't know how I didn't combine this two earlier...would've saved me a lot of money!
haha!

Finally, the lips.
I went a little bit lipstick crazy during 2013
From left to right: Revlon's Colourburst Matte Balm in Standout, MAC in Rebel, Rimmel London's Kate Moss in 107 and Rimmel  London's Apocalips in Apocaliptic
Lipsticks are the one thing that I'm really daring with.
I have no problem rocking a bold lip on a daily basis.

Revlon's Colourburst is my favourite red lipstick.
Since it's a balm, it's very moisturizing and the colour is very rich.
I can go majority of the day without touching it up, which is fantastic.
It has a peppermint scent which I find very enjoyable.

MAC's Rebel is by far my boldest lipstick.
It's a beautiful plum colour.
I love this for the fall and winter.
I find this a little drying on the lips therefore I have to apply a lip balm before putting it on.
I'm also finding myself reapplying this colour quite often.

I purchased Kate Moss' 107 because of Zoella.
The colour was absolutely gorgeous on her.
I, however, didn't take into account that I have a very different skin tone compared to Zoe.
I didn't care, I bought it anyways.
I love the vampy, matte look that this one gives.
It is definitely a fall colour, but I wore it in the summer- I don't care.
This is very drying though and stay power is not that great.

Lastly, Rimmel's Apocalips.
There was such a huge hype in the UK about this, so when it came here I had to try it.
This colour is a stunning hot pink!
This colour does not fade and where I wear this I do not have to touch it up!
I do have to be careful when applying this because before it sets is very messy!

There you have it :)
My favourite beauty products of 2013.
As this year progresses, I expect to add more products to my favourites and I can't wait to share them with you all!
Leave a comment below and let me know what your favourite products of 2013 were.
