Pretty Little Liars #3: Spencer Hastings

Hello beautiful people :)
So tonight is the night!
Tonight is the Summer Finale for PLL!
Unfortunately, I work and I'm unable to watch it!
But I guess it's good because I'm a little behind, so I have to catch up!

Since today is the finale, I couldn't not do another episode!
So today we look into Spencer Hastings' closet!
As the seasons have progressed, I have become more fond of Spencer's outfits.
It may be because my fashion sense has changed, but I am definitely a bigger fan of her clothes than I was during Season 1.

This outfit is definitely toned down, compared to her usual outfits.
But I love this simple look on Spencer.
Up close, the white sweater may look a little tacky but from a distance I love it!
The large dip of the little people adds beautiful detail to the neckline of this sweater.
The brown elbow patches add an imperfect look.
It gives the sweater a cozier feel.
The warm colours tone down the white fabric.

The jeans help make it look casual and I am in love with her oxford shoes!
It's a little touch of Spencer Hastings!
Since the outfit is so simple and casual, the oxford shoes are very much Hasting-esuqe!

Here's Western Spencer!
Hehe!
She is rocking the denim on denim!
I love shirts with cut out shoulders.
(I am currently wearing one as I type this)
You're showing a bit a skin without looking trashy!
It's like a classy sexy!
Haha!
The cut out shoulders with the rolled up sleeves has a very relaxed looked.
The black denim pants are worn with a large buckle belt, which in my opinion is the reason why this looks very western!

 Here is our classic Spencer!
Looking very professional.
It's clear in the show that Spencer is very hardworking and very academic.
So it makes sense that her style matches that.
The violet button up top paired with the brown blazer gives a very academic look.
I like how she has her collar tucked underneath her blazer and her shirt is rolled over top of the blazer's sleeves.

To keep this outfit appropriate for someone who is still in high school, wearing jeans rolled at the ankle tones it down.
It's not as professional as it would be with dress pants.
Here she is again rocking her brown oxfords.
What I think is so great about this outfit is that it looks comfortable whilst giving off an academic, business-like vibe.

This floor length dress looks absolutely gorgeous on Spencer.
Spencer's tiny body is usually hiding underneath all of her clothes, but this dress shows off her beautiful figure!
This peach colour dress is very flattering against Spencer's fair skin.
The beige belt, wraps around Spencer showing off her tiny body.
The combination of the belt and the length of the dress really compliments Spencer's tiny and long frame!
Since the dress is very simple, Spencer's stylist adds very minimal accessories.
Besides a watch and a bracelet, she has a long very simple necklace around her neck.
With her loose curls, Spencer looks perfect for a Summer's day!

Four very different looks from the Hastings' closet!
Leave a comment below and let me know which outfit of Spencer's is your favourite!
I do not know when the final episode of the PLL fashion series will be up!
But it will be posted before next Tuesday!
I will leave you now with Spencer's preppy style!
I hope you enjoyed it!

Pretty Little Liars #2: Hanna Marin

Hello beautiful people :)
Here comes episode 2 of my Pretty Little Liars series!
Today all the attention is on my favourite character, Hanna Marin.

My friends and I have this dorky thing that we like to do; we assign characters that resemble us the most in shows and movies that we all love.
In this case, my friends think I relate to Hanna!
I am totally fine with that because she is stunning and I admire her style.

If I could rock this outfit, this is the only thing I would wear!
This outfit is very bold.
The red disco pants bring a lot of attention to Ashley Benson's legs.
Luckily, she can rock the disco pants and they flatter her.
To make sure the outfit isn't too over the top, the rest of Hanna's clothing is simple with neutral colours.
The white coloured, printed shirt pairs nicely with the leggings and the leather jacket ties in the black, high top wedges.
Even without the black leather jacket, this outfit is very suitable for the day.
Finally, the high top wedges look great with the disco pants.

This is one of the few casual outfits that we see Hanna wearing.
I think that's why I love it so much!
I, also, love that adding a leather jacket can completely change the look of the entire outfit.
This look is classy and very different from the first choice!
I don't think this is a school outfit, but it would be appropriate for meetings or office jobs.
Every item is a solid colour.
The colour scheme is very neutral, with the exception of the salmon colour skirt.
It brightens the entire outfit.
The grey blazer swoops down at the back and has a straight fit.
But the high waisted skirt with the thick black band shows Ashley's figure.
The long, thin silver necklace adds enough bling without over doing it.

Hanna looks very mature in this outfit.
She looks clean and sophisticated!
Time to dress it up..literally!
I love floral dresses, so I can't ignore the fact that Hanna is wearing one now!
This white floral dress with the thick blue belt gives Hanna an innocent look.
The combination of colours on the dress and the blue belt and cardigan make this look perfect for the spring or summer time.
Although, the thick belt makes Ashley look a lot smaller, I would prefer the look without it.
I think it's too large for her body and it takes away from the dress.
The dress can still be flattering without it.
I do like the blue cardigan, it covers Hanna's shoulders, giving it a modest look.
Everything is covered and makes her look respectable.
& The Best for last!
TaDa!
How can you not love this dress?
Every little detail about this dress is so beautiful!
Ashley looks like a princess!

The mixture of white and gold has an angelic and magical look.
The corset top hugs Ashley's body nicely.
With the skirt starting low on her waist, her hips are accentuated.
But because the dress falls to the floor, her hips don't look too large.
The shape of this dress shows off Ashley's tiny waist and upper body.
The flower crown adds to the princess look!
This dress is absolutely stunning!

As much as I love Hanna's style, it's not something I could wear to school all the time.
She's able to rock it and her style fits in with her lifestyle.
She definitely dresses more business like and sophisticated compared to Emily.
Although, very different, they rock each and every outfit!

That's all for Episode #2!
The third part will come tomorrow.
So stay tuned :)
Leave a comment below and let me know if you are a fan of Hanna Marin's style!

Pretty Little Liars #1: Emily Fields

Hello beautiful people:)
I'm starting a new 4 Part Series on my blog.
If you haven't guessed from the title...
It's a Pretty Little Liars series!
I'm a massive fan of the show!
I love the girls and most of all I love their style!

I'm going to try to post these on PLL Tuesday or close to when Pretty Little Liars airs!
Although, I think the finale is coming up, I will still continue it until I finish all 4 parts.

Today, I will be sharing with you my favourite outfits from Emily Fields!
Out of all 4 of the girls, Emily's style is one of my favourites because I would definitely wear her outfits out!
I am in love with this outfit!
It's on the relaxed side, but the boots definitely add an edgier feel!
I'm a fan of the baggy jersey shirts.
They are comfy, but they still look really cute when paired with the right bottoms.
The skinny jeans really elongates Shay Mitchell's legs!
This outfit is also on the casual side
What I love most about this outfit and the first outfit is that, they are perfect to wear to school.
Whereas, the other girls dress more formal and mature.
I would wear this outfit any day in the fall!
I think it's great, comfy and stylish!
The purple scarf and the army green jacket add a nice splash of colour to the outfit!
& I don't know about you, but I love me some scarves in the fall!
I also really like the brown boots.
I find that the brown boots keep the outfit very casual, whereas black boots can be more sharp looking and polished!
Now for the dressier side!
I love dresses!
I'm such a girl and i love wearing dresses!
I think this dress very flattering for Shay!
It shows off her small waist, by hugging it tightly and then flowing out at her hips.
Dresses that make girls' waists look smaller always gets a thumbs up from me!
I think this style of dress can be flattering on different body types!
I love Spencer's dress, but lets focus on Emily's!
This is my favourite dress Emily has ever worn on PLL.
I think it's super girly and feminine, and she reminds me of Cinderella in it!
The light sky blue compliments Shay's tanned skin.
It's very modest covering her cleavage and it's a good length!
The off the shoulder straps make her look dainty (if that makes any sense at all)
I like how the top gathers at the neckline, providing a little detail to the dress.
The little, thin belt just ties everything together!
It brings attention to her, once again, small waist.
The flowiness of the bottom is also beautiful!
It's loose and very fun!

That is all for Part 1 of Pretty Little Liars Fashion!
Leave a comment below and let me know if you love Emily Field's style!
Stay tuned for Part 2 :)

Advice of the Night: Don't Over Think Everything.

Hello beautiful people!
I am not going to lie, I am in a terrible mood.
I'm writing this post without putting much thought into it, so I don't know if this will be an advice post or a rant one.
We shall see what happens...

I am 18 and I can say that I have had my fair share of boy issues.
But what I'm starting to notice is that the same thing happens each time.
I get ahead of myself and I over think everything and end up ruining it.
I can't begin to talk about how much I hate it!
I over think everything and it sucks.
It simply sucks.
It seems like I'm unable to just enjoy the things and people that are in my life.
I even have a horrible tendency to over think my friendships...what is wrong with me?
There is not a single aspect of my life that I don't over think.

Some people say that it's better to over think things than to not think at all.
But I don't agree!
I think that over thinking situations prevents you from taking risks and experiencing situations that you wouldn't normally experience.
It can ruin friendships because you could over analyze your friend's actions causing a fight.

My advice to you all is to not let your thoughts affect your life.
To a certain extent, it makes sense to pay attention to your thoughts.
But there is a fine line!
Make sure that you are being reasonable, that you aren't over reacting and jumping to conclusions.
For me, because I over think a lot, it makes me feel worse about myself.
I am guaranteed to feel horrible about myself if I let my mind control everything.

Know your limit.
Don't try to convince yourself that a guy isn't interested in you.
Don't convince yourself that your friends are mad at you because they are having a rough day.
I think having a bit of confidence in yourself helps not being so anal about everything in your life!
I know this is all easier said then done!
But I know that not over thinking everything is something that I'm trying to change.
It's not easy, but it's worth it!

Don't over think everything.
Take risks!
Be happy!
Be confident in yourself and it'll makes a difference with how people see you.
Be confident in the relationships that you have with your best friends.

I'm definitely going to keep those things in mind!

Beauty Review | Rimmel London Apocalips

Hello beautiful people!
I have come to the conclusion that I suck at introductions.
I sit here for like ten minutes trying to figure out how to greet all of you lovely people!
I guess I'm just too much of an awkward person to figure it out!
Haha!

Anyways, it's time for another beauty review!
I'm going to start to do more of these!
I find it extremely helpful when I read reviews on products that I'm not sure if I should buy it!
So why not help out other people :)
The reviews may not always be positive, products do disappoint me!
But positive or negative, reviews can be beneficial!

The product that I'm going to be talking about is Rimmel London's Apocalips!
This product was only sold in the UK and then made its' way to the U.S.
Except, I was in the States last week and I couldn't find them at Target or CVS.
So I guess that they are only being sold in select stores.
However, they are being sold in majority of the Drugstores in Canada!
But that's a bonus of us Canadian Beauty Guru's because we can try it out and fall in love with this product!
:)
I am in love with the packaging!
I have the colour Apocalyptic, which is a hot pink!
Just look at how pigmented it is!
It has a thick consistency!
You have to be careful when applying this lip stain because it can get messy if you aren't paying attention!
I am a massive fan of the scent that the Rimmel lip sticks have and this lip stain smells the same way!
The Apocalips applies nice and even without making your lips look dry!
I really like the glossy finish, and the colour stains your lips very nicely!
I wore this when I spent an entire day in Toronto.
It surprised me that I only had to reapply this once!
The colour is so bright and I love nothing more than a bold lip.

There are a couple of things that I do have to say.
1. Be careful that this does not end up on your teeth!
The first time I applied this, a lot ended up on my teeth!
So after applying this just clean it up to prevent that from happening.
Because, girl, walking around with lipstick on your teeth ain't a good look!
2. The colour range of these lip stains aren't that impressive!
There aren't a lot of options and I only like two of them!
I'm just wondering whether or not they are going to come out with a wider variety!

On that note, I am giving this product a 10/10!
I had very high expectations for this and it did not disappoint me!
This is very affordable, they are 7 bucks at Walmart!
I will be going back to get the other colour that I liked!
Let me know in the comments if you've tried this product and your thoughts on it!
I would love to hear if other people are loving it as much as I am!

Toronto Haul :)

Hello beautiful people :)
Time for another haul!
Stephanie and I have filmed a haul and are still preparing to upload it to our YouTube channel, but I will let you know when it's up!

So a few weeks ago, I spent the afternoon in Toronto with my gorgeous best friend, Madison!
I vlogged for my first time there and if you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it HERE
I didn't shop a lot, but I figured it's still worth writing a post about it!

My first purchase was from Garage!
It's a light beige, knitted cardigan.
It was $40.00 but absolutely worth the price!
It's pretty long, ending mid thigh and the sleeves are three quarter length.
It's light enough to wear in the summer and still warms me up!
I cannot explain how much I love flower crowns!
I think they are so cute and girly!
When I pair the right outfit with this head band, I feel great!

I got this flower head band from Forever 21!
It was around $7.00
I didn't think I could pull off the larger flowers, but I really like them!
& they are pink!!
PERFECT!!!!
 HEY HEY!
This shirt sums up my attitude!
How could I not buy this?!
I got this cropped top from Brandy Melville (which is becoming one of my favourite stores!)
The shirt was either $12 or $18...but I'm pretty sure it was $12.
The material is extremely soft and tight fitting!
I love everything about this shirt!
Yay!
My last purchase was a make-up purchase!
I got an eyeshadow from MAC to fill in my eyebrows!
It's Mystery Satin and it's the perfect colour for my brows!
I actually used it for a smokey eye today and it looked great!
Fantastic colour!

So ladies and gents that is everything for my haul!
I hope you enjoyed it!
I will chat with you all very soon!
Come and follow me on BlogLovin' & I will shower you in my love!
But for now...

Road Trip Essentials!

Hello beautiful people :)
How are you guys doing?
I've had an exhausting couple of days here in Washington DC.
I don't know if I've shared with you, but my family and I have escaped the land of moose and igloos Tuesday afternoon to come to Washington.
My aunt lives down here, so we're staying with her for the rest of the week!

It was a 10 hour drive and one that I dreaded, but was very excited for.
Confusing isn't it?
I love road trips, I love the concept of road trips!
But I reach a limit of the amount of hours I can spend in the car.
I can get really antsy and the time starts to drag on!

Fortunately, the trip flew by and it was great!
I had the entire back seat row to myself and I created a little bed. I had my pillow and my blanket.
Mr. Penguin enjoyed the ride with me and I had my laptop sitting on my lap!

Since I love road trips so much, I thought I would share with you some of my road trip essentials!
So I have 11 items that I must have with me!
1. A blanket- having a blanket makes me feel a lot more comfortable during the drive and comfort is very important to me.
2. Mr. Penguin- I like to snuggle with my stuffed animal...don't judge me.
3. Movies- I love watching movies! It makes the time go by faster! I have Peter Pan, Tangled, Pitched Perfect and many many more!
4. Magazines- they are easy reads when I'm in the car! I have One Direction's cover of Glamour and the September issue of Seventeen
5. Books- if I don't get too car sick, I'll read in the car! Here, I have Eleanor and Park...which I'm loving a lot!
6. Journal- I love writing and I need my journal to write down anything interesting that I want to remember.
7. Pens- if I have my journal, I need pens to write...duh!
8. Hair ties- sometimes having my hair down becomes a pain when I'm in the car for a long time. Having hair ties available allows me to just throw my hair up when I need to.
9. Headphones- I don't like listening to the radio, so being able to listen to my own music is great! It also helps me sleep in the car.
10. deodorant- I need this just in case I get a little smelly! Hehe!
11. Hand cream- I can't stand dry hands and I will not stand dry hands in the car for a long time. I must moisturize.

There it is, I have made my list :)
Having all of these things definitely made the ride much more enjoyable!
Leave a comment below and let me know what you need to have if you're going on a road trip!

Manicure Monday #11

Hello beautiful people :)
Look it's manicure monday!
I'm really excited about this week's nail choice!
I'm going to the U.S for a week and I wanted to do something summery and playful!
These are the colours I decided to use!

Whoa, so many colours!!
On my nails I have Essie's Blanc and Playdate, Sally Hensen's Mellow Yellow and Mint Sorbet and Wet n' Wild's pink!
So many colours, and you're probably wondering what cool design I did this week!
Ha, surprise...
No design at all!
I know this seems kind of childish because when we were all little girls painting our nails different colours was so cool!
But I don't care, I like the way it looks!
I made sure all the colours matched each other and they are all Summer colours!
I think it's super playful and I'm just in love!

Let me know what you think about my choice down below :)
That's all for now!

July Favourites :)

Hello beautiful people :)
Just 2 more days until I start posting more often!
So it is the end of the month and I'm going to do my monthly favourites.
I don't normally do these and I'm not going to start.
I'm doing this to make up for all the Fancy Friday's that I've missed and because I have favourites that I do want to share with you.
However, I will be doing monthly favourites on my YouTube channel with my best friend Stephanie!
:)

Without further ado, here are my July favourites!
My favourites all together!
Lets start with my beauty favourites! :)
When I found this product at Shoppers, I actually screamed!
This is Rimmel London's Apocalips in Apocaliptic!
All of my favourite British YouTubers raved about this and I was so jealous that we didn't have them in Canada!
Then, two American Youtubers that I watch announced that they had them in certain places but it was called something else!

So the moment, I saw this I had to buy one!
I'm making a trip to the States next week, so I'll be purchasing more!
But what I love about these is that they stain your lips nicely!
It lasts a long time and it's very pigmented!
The colour pops so well I'm in love with it!
It smells like the Rimmel lipsticks, but I love the scent and it doesn't dry my lips out which is a bonus!
Lately, I've been buying a lot more eye shadows and I have no idea why I haven't started to build up my own eyeshadow palette.
That was a bad decision on my part!
Anyways, I've been looking for a shadow to fill my eyebrows with and the one i was using before just wasn't cutting it!
So I got this one, it is Mac's eyeshadow in Mystery Satin!
It matches my hair colour perfectly!
The best part is, I can use this for a smokey eye as well!
It's an excellent colour and I'm really liking it!
Another product that I've been loving is Maybelline's FIT me blush in deep nude!
I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup the past couple of weeks, to give my skin a break!
But if I do wear makeup, I keep it very basic and natural!
This is a blush with a little bit of shimmer in it, but it's nothing extreme!
It gives me a nice subtle glow when I wear it!
I think this is perfect for a summer, every day look!
My last favourite beauty product is another Rimmel London product!
If you've been tuning in for all of my Fancy Friday's, it is clear that I am a Rimmel London fan!
I haven't been disappointed by one of their products so far!
This one is their Wake Me Up Anti-fatigue and radiant glow foundation in the shade 400 Natural beige.

This is my first non-dance related foundation and I love it!
I don't like feeling like I have a mask of makeup on my face!
I wanted something natural looking and light!
This is the perfect foundation!
It absorbs into my skin and provides a great amount of coverage for my skin type.
What I like the most about this foundation is the radiant glow it gives me!
My skin looks a lot better when I have this on and I love the way it looks in the sun :)
Now before I begin...everyone take your minds out of the gutter ;)
It's a curling wand, guys!!
For the past month, I have rarely been straightening my hair. I just prefer when it's curly!
& because it's the Summer, I let my hair air dry and when it does, it dries wavy.
So what I do is I curl random pieces of my hair loosely.
I love the way it looks!
My favourite book of the month is The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
This was a required reading for the summer course I am taking and I really, really liked it!
It's very dark and depressing, but the writing is brilliant!
I rented this from the library, but I'm tempted to buy my own copy because I loved it so much!
This isn't a light read and it doesn't exactly put you in a happy mood, but it's a great novel!
I recommend this, if you like post-apocalyptic novels!
Okay, so you know I went to see One Direction on July 10th and it was the best night of my life!
This shirt has been my favourite shirt for July!
It just reminds me how amazing the night was and it's super comfy!
I've been wearing this to sleep and just around the house, but it makes me really happy every time I wear it!
I have two musical favourites this month!
The first one is this attractive Australian band called 5 Seconds of Summer.
They are currently touring with One Direction and they are seriously talented!
3/4 of them play guitar and Ashton who is on the right plays the drums.
On Top of that they all have great voices!
They have catchy and fun songs, I can't wait for them to release a cd!
This is my favourite song by them!
They're funny and talented guys!
Seriously check them out!
My second music favourite is a girl group called Girls Aloud.
Now they aren't some new group, they've been around for a while and are extremely popular in the UK.
I started listening to them because my friend recommended them and I'm glad she did.
I am hooked on them!
Their songs make me want to dance all the time, they are so energetic and typical pop songs! (which I love)
All five of them are so beautiful.
To me, they are a classy version of the Pussycat Dolls!
They can be fierce and classy all at the same time!
This is my favourite song by them!
It's called Love Machine!
It's very bubbly and fun to listen too!
I love having this blast through my car whilst I'm driving!
It puts me in the best mood!

That it is all for my July Favourites!
Leave a comment below and let me know what you've been loving throughout the month of July!
Don't be scared to follow me in on BlogLovin'
You'll hear from me soon!
