July Favourites :)

Hello beautiful people :)
Just 2 more days until I start posting more often!
So it is the end of the month and I'm going to do my monthly favourites.
I don't normally do these and I'm not going to start.
I'm doing this to make up for all the Fancy Friday's that I've missed and because I have favourites that I do want to share with you.
However, I will be doing monthly favourites on my YouTube channel with my best friend Stephanie!
:)

Without further ado, here are my July favourites!
My favourites all together!
Lets start with my beauty favourites! :)
When I found this product at Shoppers, I actually screamed!
This is Rimmel London's Apocalips in Apocaliptic!
All of my favourite British YouTubers raved about this and I was so jealous that we didn't have them in Canada!
Then, two American Youtubers that I watch announced that they had them in certain places but it was called something else!

So the moment, I saw this I had to buy one!
I'm making a trip to the States next week, so I'll be purchasing more!
But what I love about these is that they stain your lips nicely!
It lasts a long time and it's very pigmented!
The colour pops so well I'm in love with it!
It smells like the Rimmel lipsticks, but I love the scent and it doesn't dry my lips out which is a bonus!
Lately, I've been buying a lot more eye shadows and I have no idea why I haven't started to build up my own eyeshadow palette.
That was a bad decision on my part!
Anyways, I've been looking for a shadow to fill my eyebrows with and the one i was using before just wasn't cutting it!
So I got this one, it is Mac's eyeshadow in Mystery Satin!
It matches my hair colour perfectly!
The best part is, I can use this for a smokey eye as well!
It's an excellent colour and I'm really liking it!
Another product that I've been loving is Maybelline's FIT me blush in deep nude!
I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup the past couple of weeks, to give my skin a break!
But if I do wear makeup, I keep it very basic and natural!
This is a blush with a little bit of shimmer in it, but it's nothing extreme!
It gives me a nice subtle glow when I wear it!
I think this is perfect for a summer, every day look!
My last favourite beauty product is another Rimmel London product!
If you've been tuning in for all of my Fancy Friday's, it is clear that I am a Rimmel London fan!
I haven't been disappointed by one of their products so far!
This one is their Wake Me Up Anti-fatigue and radiant glow foundation in the shade 400 Natural beige.

This is my first non-dance related foundation and I love it!
I don't like feeling like I have a mask of makeup on my face!
I wanted something natural looking and light!
This is the perfect foundation!
It absorbs into my skin and provides a great amount of coverage for my skin type.
What I like the most about this foundation is the radiant glow it gives me!
My skin looks a lot better when I have this on and I love the way it looks in the sun :)
Now before I begin...everyone take your minds out of the gutter ;)
It's a curling wand, guys!!
For the past month, I have rarely been straightening my hair. I just prefer when it's curly!
& because it's the Summer, I let my hair air dry and when it does, it dries wavy.
So what I do is I curl random pieces of my hair loosely.
I love the way it looks!
My favourite book of the month is The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
This was a required reading for the summer course I am taking and I really, really liked it!
It's very dark and depressing, but the writing is brilliant!
I rented this from the library, but I'm tempted to buy my own copy because I loved it so much!
This isn't a light read and it doesn't exactly put you in a happy mood, but it's a great novel!
I recommend this, if you like post-apocalyptic novels!
Okay, so you know I went to see One Direction on July 10th and it was the best night of my life!
This shirt has been my favourite shirt for July!
It just reminds me how amazing the night was and it's super comfy!
I've been wearing this to sleep and just around the house, but it makes me really happy every time I wear it!
I have two musical favourites this month!
The first one is this attractive Australian band called 5 Seconds of Summer.
They are currently touring with One Direction and they are seriously talented!
3/4 of them play guitar and Ashton who is on the right plays the drums.
On Top of that they all have great voices!
They have catchy and fun songs, I can't wait for them to release a cd!
This is my favourite song by them!
They're funny and talented guys!
Seriously check them out!
My second music favourite is a girl group called Girls Aloud.
Now they aren't some new group, they've been around for a while and are extremely popular in the UK.
I started listening to them because my friend recommended them and I'm glad she did.
I am hooked on them!
Their songs make me want to dance all the time, they are so energetic and typical pop songs! (which I love)
All five of them are so beautiful.
To me, they are a classy version of the Pussycat Dolls!
They can be fierce and classy all at the same time!
This is my favourite song by them!
It's called Love Machine!
It's very bubbly and fun to listen too!
I love having this blast through my car whilst I'm driving!
It puts me in the best mood!

That it is all for my July Favourites!

Body Product Haul :)

Hello beautiful people :)
The fact that I'm doing another haul is making me go crazy.
I am shopping way too much and today was a true test of how much self control I have and clearly I have 0.
I cannot turn away from great sales and that's going to be a problem.
I'm just going to get over all the negative emotions that I am feeling and share my exciting purchases with you because I do love everything that I bought today.
My best friends and I went to the mall strictly to shop at Chapters.
We all love reading and we love shopping at Chapters together because we spend so much time in there and we love looking for new books.
Somehow we ended up walking through the entire mall and I made purchases at Bath and Body Works, The Body Shop and Chapters.
I bought Nicholas Sparks' Safe Haven.
I have seen the movie and absolutely fell in love with it, so I know the book is going to be brilliant!
I am a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks' novels, I just love his writing and I'm a sucker for romantic novels!
Once I'm finished reading my current book, I'll start this one.
I think is going to be a great summer read :)

If you have been reading my blog, you know that Bath and Body Works is a very dangerous shop for me to go into.
I can't walk in without walking out with something.
My best friend and I tried to stop ourselves from going in, but they were having their semi annual sale and they had such good deals.
The moment we walked in, we knew there would be serious damage to our debit cards.
So here are my purchases from Bath and Body Works,
I love the True Blue Spa line and I haven't been let down by any of their products.
They had a lot of their products going for 50%, which excited me a little too much.
I bought a nourishing shower smoothie in mango butter.
I got this 295 ml bottle for $7.50.
This is a creamy smoothie that hydrates and gives the skin a rich, gentle cleanse with the aloe vera that is in it.
This smells so good.
It's very fruity and it actually smells like mango!
So I'm very excited to try this out.
I got another True Blue Spa product.
It's their Raspberry Margarita Body Scrub.
This was also 50% so I got this for $7.50
The sugar exfoliates the skin and the oils moisturize the skin.
It smells like a margarita and I'm excited to use this on my body.
I haven't used a sugar scrub before so I'm hoping that it really helps my skin.
Another product that I purchased is a Fresh Picked Body Wash in the scent First Bloom.
This was on sale for $8.00
I'm currently using Bath and Body Works' Paris Amour body wash, but I'm running low and my friend said she loves this.
We have very similar taste in everything, so I figure that I'm going to like it too.
The smell is very sweet and reminds me of spring.
It really does smell like flowers :)
I also bought four wall flower fillers.
I am currently using my last one in my bathroom, so I had to stock up.
Thankfully, they were on sale for 4 for $20.00
I got two of London Calling because I loved that wall flower so much, I also got Paris Daydream (which I have in a candle) and a new one called Rio Glow.
I am so disappointed that I bought this candle.
I said I didn't need anymore and yet I bought this one.
I don't even know why I approached the candles, I think I did because they were on sale.
I got a one wick candle in Garden Freesia.
This was $5.25.
I fell in love with this candle because it is very relaxing.
I smell a bit of lavender.
The last thing I got was a cheeky, last minute purchase.
I saw this whilst in line to pay.
I told you that I love phone cases, well guess what I also love bows!
This was $8.00, I had to buy it.
It has colourful bows on it for crying out loud!
It even has this cute little pink bow to put in my earphones hole when I'm not using it!
Super cute!
The last thing I bought was from the Body Shop.
It's the Raspberry Body Butter.
It was on sale for $10.
Booya!
This has a sweet, candy like scent to it.

So, that concludes my haul.
Thank the heavens!
To be honest, I'm really excited to try all of these products out.
I will definitely being doing reviews once I starting using them.
So, keep an eye out for that!

Leave a comment below and let me know if you've used any of these products :)

Fancy Friday :)

Hello Beautiful People :)
So today is Friday and I want to start sharing with you the things that I fancy on Friday's.
The things will not follow specific categories, they will just be anything that I have been in love with recently.
I love watching monthly favourites that a lot of my favourite YouTubers do :)
I also believe that this is going to be a lot of fun :)

I'm quite excited for these Fancy Fridays! Yay :)
This week my favourites consist of beauty, reading and face products!
These posts aren't really in depths reviews, so if you have any questions about the things I fancy feel free to leave a comment down below :)
I shall share with you my favourite face products! Wahoo!
Voila! Two lovely products <3
I absolutely love using these products!
The first one is from Bath and Body Works' True Blue Spa line.
It is a supremely smoothing face scrub with apricot and white tea.
This exfoliates the skin leaving it invigorated and extremely smooth.
I have had this product for over a year but have only started using it this January.
It didn't take me long to fall in love with this, it does exactly what it says it's supposed to do.
I already have pretty smooth and clear skin, but after a few uses there was a clear difference.
I use this every morning when I wake up and it wakes my skin up and makes it feel healthy and so smooth.
I literally stand there and stroke my cheeks because they are so smooth after using this.
The smell is also beautiful, it reminds me of tropical places.
It has a really fruity and exotic smell that just pleases your nose whilst you wash your face.
At the time that I bought it was $13.00, which isn't bad at all.
I definitely recommend this product to everyone, I will definitely be repurchasing this one :)

The second product is Clean and Clear's soothing eye makeup remover.
I have seen one of my favourite YouTubers use this and I thought I would give it a go.
I purchased this about a month ago and I love it.
I'm quite fussy with makeup removers because a lot of them make my skin feel icky afterwards and I really don't like it.
This one, when you take your eye makeup off your skin doesn't feel oily or greasy!
It takes it off easily with a cotton pad and all you have to do is rinse your face with warm water to remove whatever is left on your face.
I wear waterproof eyeliner and some makeup removers that I use can't take off my eyeliner fully, but this one does an excellent job of doing so.
The next beauty product that I am going to rave about is one that a lot of bloggers and Youtubers are loving!
I am absolutely in love with L'oreal's Colour Caresse Shine Stains!
There was so much hype about them, I decided to try them out and I love them!
These are my top two most used lip products :)
I plan to expand my colour collection once I get the chance, hehe!
I have here, #184 Rose On and On and #193 Eternally Nude.
The top left is the Rose On and On and the bottom left is the Eternally Nude.
On the right is me swatching the colours for you all :)
To be honest, when I saw the applicator, I wasn't a fan because I typically don't like those type of brushes...but in this case I don't mind at all :)
I love the Rose On and On because it's pretty subtle when you first put it on, but the longer I wear it the colour becomes more visible.
I tend to reach for the Rose On and On when I want a bit of colour on my lips and then the Eternally Nude when I want to be ore subtle.
These go on quite wet because it's made with 30% water and light hydrating oils.
My lips can become quite dry when I wear lipsticks, but my lips love these glosses.
They don't dry them out at all and I love the way it feels when I'm wearing it.
It's light on my lips and I can feel it hydrating them.
It does say that the colours last up to 6 hours, but that is debatable because before I reach the 6 hour mark, I find myself reapplying this.
So that has to be the only thing I don't agree with, but the colour does last longer than a lot of other lip products :)
This is another product I high recommend for people who may have dry lips!
Finally, the last thing I fancy :)
I love to read and I am definitely a book worm.
I have created myself a summer reading list, which I'm really excited to work through!
This is the first thing on my reading list!
It is Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.
It's the first book in a series and I know the movie has already been in theatres.
I'm not that far into the book, but after the first chapter I was hooked.
I love the style of these authors, they do an excellent job of captivating their audience after the first page.
It's about Lena Duchannes who has a power and a family curse. She moves to Gatlin and meets Ethan Wates. Ethan has been dreaming about Lena before he even met her. When they first meet there is a strong and very odd connection between the two of them and Ethan is aware of it. He is desperately trying to figure out what that connection is.
My description of the story line may not be good, but I didn't want to just copy the summary on the back of the book.
I haven't seen the movie, so I can't compare it to the novel but I will make an effort to watch it once I'm done the book.
What I love most about this book is that whilst I'm reading it, I forget that I'm in my room. I am right in the book.
The characters seem so real, so do their problems and the way the authors write, they make you feel like you are involved with the characters, experiencing the problems with them.
I'm pretty good with remembering that I'm just reading a book, but not with this book.
I can't wait to finish this book and read the rest of the series.

I want to leave you with a quote on the front cover of Beautiful Creatures:
"Some loves are meant to be...Others are cursed."
ooooo, breathing taking.
There's something about this quote that gives me goosebumps.
I love it.

I hope you liked this Fancy Friday post.
Leave any thoughts below in the comment box.
Much appreciated :)
