Advice of the Night: Don't Over Think Everything.

Hello beautiful people!
I am not going to lie, I am in a terrible mood.
I'm writing this post without putting much thought into it, so I don't know if this will be an advice post or a rant one.
We shall see what happens...

I am 18 and I can say that I have had my fair share of boy issues.
But what I'm starting to notice is that the same thing happens each time.
I get ahead of myself and I over think everything and end up ruining it.
I can't begin to talk about how much I hate it!
I over think everything and it sucks.
It simply sucks.
It seems like I'm unable to just enjoy the things and people that are in my life.
I even have a horrible tendency to over think my friendships...what is wrong with me?
There is not a single aspect of my life that I don't over think.

Some people say that it's better to over think things than to not think at all.
But I don't agree!
I think that over thinking situations prevents you from taking risks and experiencing situations that you wouldn't normally experience.
It can ruin friendships because you could over analyze your friend's actions causing a fight.

My advice to you all is to not let your thoughts affect your life.
To a certain extent, it makes sense to pay attention to your thoughts.
But there is a fine line!
Make sure that you are being reasonable, that you aren't over reacting and jumping to conclusions.
For me, because I over think a lot, it makes me feel worse about myself.
I am guaranteed to feel horrible about myself if I let my mind control everything.

Know your limit.
Don't try to convince yourself that a guy isn't interested in you.
Don't convince yourself that your friends are mad at you because they are having a rough day.
I think having a bit of confidence in yourself helps not being so anal about everything in your life!
I know this is all easier said then done!
But I know that not over thinking everything is something that I'm trying to change.
It's not easy, but it's worth it!

Don't over think everything.
Take risks!
Be happy!
Be confident in yourself and it'll makes a difference with how people see you.
Be confident in the relationships that you have with your best friends.

I'm definitely going to keep those things in mind!

Tea Party :)

Hello beautiful people :)
Yesterday was the start to a fabulous week!
So many exciting things are happening that I can't wait to share them with you!
Yesterday, my two friends and I took off on an adventure to collect some materials before retreating to my friends beautiful home.
My friend lives in the country, where it is so peaceful and beautiful compare to the town that I live in.

Her house is so cozy and cute, I fell in love with it the moment that I stepped food inside.
The house screams her and her mom and it's great.
We spent the sunny afternoon having a very fancy tea party on her porch outside.
I took photos and I want to share them with you.
So voila! Here they are! :)
The lovely tea part set up!
The best tasting cucumber sandwiches with cream cheese!
Yummm!

Our finger foods for the afternoon and they were absolutely delicious!
The table set up with the beautiful trees in her backyard!
 Our tasty and healthy fruits!

 My friends :)
yay!
 So good!
Blueberry scones, danishes, cucumber sandwich, brownies, fruit and jam!

It was a lovely tea party and I really did have a blast.
The weather was perfect and we were all excited for this!
I can't wait to have more tea parties!

My Baby Brother is No Longer a Baby!!

Hello beautiful people :)
As many of you know, my little brother graduated from Grade 8 yesterday.
Two years ago my cousin and my best friend's little brother graduated from grade 8 and it didn't compare to my brother's graduation.
The age gap between my brother and I is five years, so I still see him as little, whereas my cousin acts closer to my age.
Not only was my brother graduating, but so was my cousin and my basically sister.

If you're asking why I keep calling her my basically sister, it's because her mom babysat me when I was little and I dance with her.
I spend so much time with her that she is family to my brother and I.
It was definitely something else watching them graduate.
I knew 90% of my brother's grade because they've grown up together and seeing all the guys in their suits and all the girls in their dresses made them look so old!
Last I remember they were tiny little things and suddenly they look like they are ready for high school.

I was happy to be involved in all three of their getting ready processes.
I helped my brother with his hair and did the girls' makeup.
Seeing their before and afters was amazing.
My brother looked handsome and the girls looked absolutely beautiful.
The gym was bloody hot and it was very full, so I started melting after 10 minutes.
But it was definitely worth it :)
I thought it would be nice if I shared some photos of the night with you all!
My brother all grown up!
What I was wearing :)
This is Kassie (my 'sister'), her brother was in the way
My brother getting his diploma
My cousin Melanie getting her diploma
Kassie looked beautiful :)
I don`t know why Mel and I can`t take nice pictures together
Me with my two girls :)
Justin and Melanie! You can really tell they`re related here!
I just love my brother so much!

I really am a proud big sister!

The family!

Oh look! Mel and I can take a nice picture!

Us, dance girls, are supporting our little graduate!

We really are family!
Doing a big sister-little brother dance!
Last night was great and I wish the three of them the best of luck in high school :)
